Vancouver Section 2016 donation to BC Children's Hospital

The Vancouver Section was pleased to present a check once again to the BC Children's hospital for 2016.

This years check was for $1,600 once again

The funds were raised in the annual summer PNWSCT / PAC golf tournament in memory of past member John Riddell

We thank all of our sponsors and participants for helping us make this event a success once again!

  • Double check your room reservation to make sure your arrivval and departure dates are coorect...Tulalip requires 48 hours advance notice for any changes or you may be charged.
  • If you don't want to rent a car, Tulalip has a discounted shuttle service from Seattle Tacoma International Airport that runs approximately every 30 minutes. Lori Straus, a Boeing Associate Technical Fellow and Boeing Designated Expert in coatings, will be featured at the Society luncheon on Thursday 10/6/16 at CoatingsFest at the Tulalip Resort and Cansino. Lori has more than 25 years of experience in developing and qualifying paints and primers, as well as supporting Boeing programs. Lori will discuss Boeing’s strategy for identifying and sourcing the latest and best technology to support aircraft coatings specification. Speakers announced for the Environmental and Regulatory Forum at Coatingsfest 2016

Robert Wendoll, Director of regulatory Affairs for Dunn Edwards Corporation, will join our panel of experts from the American Coatings Association and the Western Technology Center at Cal Poly University SLO for the Environmental and regulatory Forum on Friday October 7, 2016 at the Tulalip Resort. Robert will present the perspective of a paint manufacturer who closely follows the regulatory environment. He will discuss how the regulatory and environmental trends impact and shape his company’s development and marketing strategies. In addition to learning about the latest VOC & regulatory issues, attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions in a facilitated discussion and Q&A.
