PNWSCT Members, Friends, and Hockey Fans –
I have been asked to set up this year’s Winter Social, which has been a night with the Portland Winterhawks. Historically we have picked a game in February, although I wasn’t given enough time this year to set something up for that month. All of the games in the beginning of the month would be impossible to get seats together in a timely manner and there are no home games the back half of February.
Looking into March, there are some home games with our favorite nemesis (Seattle Thunderbirds). I would like to suggest Saturday, March 18th @ 6 pm. The Winterhawks play in the Portland Memorial Coliseum. This would allow time for our buddies from the Emerald City (Seattle) to travel down for a humiliating defeat! The Winterhawks have said that they could handle a group of our size and have already blocked off an area on the lower level. Cost would be $26.00/person. In the past this included a hotdog and soda, but that program has been cancelled due to COVID. Damn bug is getting the blame for everything.
Buy your tickets ASAP if you’re able to join us for an enjoyable night of hockey! I hope to see many of you there and my contact information is listed below:
