PNWSCT Members, Friends, and Hockey Fans –

I have been asked to set up this year’s Winter Social, which has been a night with the Portland Winterhawks. Historically we have picked a game in February, although I wasn’t given enough time this year to set something up for that month. All of the games in the beginning of the month would be impossible to get seats together in a timely manner and there are no home games the back half of February.

Looking into March, there are some home games with our favorite nemesis (Seattle Thunderbirds). I would like to suggest Saturday, March 18^th @ 6 pm. The Winterhawks play in the Portland Memorial Coliseum. This would allow time for our buddies from the Emerald City (Seattle) to travel down for a humiliating defeat! The Winterhawks have said that they could handle a group of our size and have already blocked off an area on the lower level. Cost would be $26.00/person. In the past this included a hotdog and soda, but that program has been cancelled due to COVID. Damn bug is getting the blame for everything.

Come join us “fore” a great game of golf, Friday, August 25th, for the 31st annual “Portland Charity Classic” Golf Tournament. The proceeds go to help support the Make-A-Wish for a child in need. Register here.

After last year’s ~$4K donation, we’re at a running total of $129,067.49 for this event!

JR Memorial Golf Tournament

This golf tournament held in honor of John Riddell is traditionally held in partnership with PAC – Packaging group.

In 2019 we raised $4,600 for BC Children’s hospital.

This year we hope to do even better!

CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON AND TOY DRIVE!

Come join your industry friends and colleagues and share some Holiday Cheer! We invite all PNWSCT members to a Christmas themed Lunch at Cloverdale Head office on Dec 12^th, 12-2pm

 We are planning to have a guest speaker (TBA)

In lieu of paying for lunch we would love for you to instead bring either a wrapped Toy or a Cash donation for the Surrey Christmas Bureau. They help low income families in the local areas with Toys, Stocking Stuffers and Grocery cards.
